Beautiful house and garden. The view of the chateau across the lake is just exquisite. Very quiet during our visit but the number of chairs at the café indicates it could get very busy.
Gorgeous Château and gardens! It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, plus they sell delicious crepes in a variety of flavours!
If you live in England, this feels like a national trust house from the grounds to the coffee shop.
It was very quiet when we went, which added to the lovely experience.
The little restaurant serves crepes and cakes. The crepes could do with a bit more care , but they are good nevertheless and the atmosphere is relaxed.
Perfect for kids and old generations.
Chateau de Boutemont is one of my favorite places to spend time when we visit Normandy. We've been twice and each visit is a step back in time. Sitting at the pool and listening to the fountain while viewing the chateau is a great experience. The varied gardens are exquisite and worth the visit. Plan on spending at least half a day in order to walk and discover everything. Make sure to visit the tea room on the grounds for refreshments, it's the best. And this year they added a creperie!!
First class experience. One of the best gardens we have visited in France this year. Enjoyed by all.
From the moment I stepped inside the grounds, I was struck by the impressive landscape. As I walked through the gardens, I couldn't help but marvel at the intricate detailing and craftsmanship that went into creating this magnificent castle.
The castle is steeped in history, and it was fascinating to learn about the various periods it has gone through and the many individuals who have lived there over the centuries. The current owners have done a remarkable job of preserving its historical features, including the beautiful tapestries, paintings, and furniture that date back centuries.
I would recommend this visit to anyone looking for a beautiful and culturally significant landmark in Normandie.
An incredible and harmonious place with a beautiful park-garden and a charming chateau. Knowing there was a picnic area on site, we came prepared and had a great time under the blossoming apple trees.
Most beautiful gardens, and a stunningly beautiful old chateau.
